Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Finance professional responsible for managing accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and supporting month-end closures. The candidate should be technically sound in accounting systems and capable of working under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Pass accounting entries in Tally on a need basis.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliation, and data validation.
- Manage TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Preparing Reporting:
- Preparation and analysis of:
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Cash Flow Statements
- Assist in finalization of books and audit support.
- Month-End Closing:
- Execute end-to-end month closing activities.
- Perform reconciliations (bank, vendor, ledger, etc.).
- Provide Support to Seniors in closure of books of accounts as per organizational timelines.
- MIS & Data Analysis:
- Prepare reports using advanced Excel functions such as SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, etc.
- Support management with data-driven insights and reports.
- ERP & Systems:
- Work on Tally efficiently.
- Exposure to any additional ERP system will be considered an advantage.
- Technology Utilization:
- Use tools like ChatGPT or similar AI platforms to improve productivity, reporting, and automation.
- Team & Coordination:
- Support team building and coordination within the finance department.
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth financial operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel
- Good understanding of GST & TDS laws and compliance
- Familiarity with financial statements and accounting principles
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
