- Carry out carpentry repair and maintenance work in guest rooms, public areas, offices, restaurants, and back-of-house areas.
- Repair and maintain wooden doors, frames, furniture, cabinets, tables, chairs, wardrobes, and other wooden fixtures.
- Attend guest room and department maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform preventive maintenance of wooden furniture, doors, locks, hinges, and fittings.
- Carry out polishing, varnishing, laminating, and minor finishing work as required.
- Inspect wooden fixtures and identify damaged, loose, or unsafe components and rectify them.
- Support renovation and modification work, including installation and replacement of wooden items.
- Ensure all carpentry work is completed safely, neatly, and according to hotel standards.
- Maintain proper care and accountability of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Engineering team and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Maintain records of completed work and report major repairs or material requirements to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace safety standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Carpentry or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, hardware, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to handle repair and maintenance work independently.
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
