We are looking for an experienced Traffic Manager to manage PAN India transportation and fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- PAN India transportation operations
- Own Fleet + Market / Attached Fleet management
- Vehicle placement and deployment
- Handling different types of commercial vehicles
- Vehicle utilization and fleet productivity
- Transporter / Vendor management
- Vehicle rate negotiation
- Route planning and vehicle allocation
- Driver and fleet coordination
- Vehicle movement and tracking
- Breakdown and replacement vehicle management
- Transportation cost control and MIS reporting
Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of experience in Transportation, Traffic Management, Fleet Management or Logistics
- Strong hands-on experience in PAN India transportation
- Experience in vehicle placement and market vehicle sourcing
- Experience managing own and attached/market fleet
- Strong transporter/vendor management and negotiation skills
- Candidates from Transport, Logistics or 3PL companies will be preferred
- Experience handling multiple categories of commercial vehicles will be an advantage
