ABOUT SOULERA
Soulera is a fast-scaling startup at the intersection of cutting-edge SaaS technology and expert-managed services. We deliver end-to-end digital solutions to enterprise and mid-market clients — combining a powerful software platform with hands-on implementation, consulting, and ongoing support.
We are building a high-performance sales team and are looking for a driven, market-connected, and results-obsessed Senior BDM who thrives in a startup environment and is confident selling new, innovative products to decision-makers across industries.
ROLE SUMMARY
As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will own the full revenue cycle — from identifying and nurturing cold leads to closing large enterprise contracts. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, the voice of Soulera in the market, and a key contributor to our go-to-market (GTM) strategy. This role demands a hunter mindset, deep industry connections, and the confidence to champion a new product in competitive markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. End-to-End B2B Sales Cycle
- Manage the complete sales funnel: prospecting, discovery calls, product demos, proposal writing, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Sell Soulera's SaaS subscription platform combined with implementation, consulting, and managed services.
- Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets (ARR + Services Revenue).
- Maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline with accurate forecasting in CRM at all times.
B. Lead Generation & Outbound Sales
- Design and execute outbound lead generation campaigns using LinkedIn, cold email sequences, calling, and industry networking.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, referrals, channel partners, and events.
- Build and maintain a strong top-of-funnel pipeline through consistent prospecting activity.
- Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, or similar for targeted outreach.
- Own cold outreach from first contact to first meeting — with the tenacity and creativity to break through to senior buyers.
C. Market Presence & Industry Connections
- Leverage an existing network of CXO, VP, and Director-level contacts across target industries to accelerate pipeline development.
- Represent Soulera at industry events, conferences, webinars, and trade associations.
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and referral relationships.
- Stay continuously updated on market trends, competitor landscape, and client pain points.
D. New Product Sales Confidence
- Champion Soulera's platform confidently to prospects who may be unfamiliar with the product — acting as both educator and salesperson.
- Craft compelling value propositions tailored to each prospect's business context and challenges.
- Handle objections around new/unproven products with confidence, data, and storytelling.
- Work closely with product and delivery teams to co-develop sales collateral, decks, case studies, and demos.
E. Contracts & Commercial Negotiations
- Lead contract discussions including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS subscription agreements, and renewal/expansion deals.
- Structure deals creatively to balance client needs with Soulera's commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to close contracts efficiently.
F. Client Success & Internal Collaboration
- Ensure smooth transition of closed deals to the delivery and customer success teams.
- Act as the client advocate internally — feeding market intelligence to product, marketing, and leadership.
- Gather structured client feedback to shape product roadmap, service packaging, and pricing strategy.
G. GTM Strategy & Sales Ops
- Collaborate directly with founders to build and refine the go-to-market playbook.
- Define ICP (Ideal Customer Profile), segmentation strategies, and sales plays for each vertical.
- Contribute to building the Sales Playbook, onboarding materials, and best practices documentation.
