Blue Tech Marine Services , a part of Bluebird Group, is seeking an experienced, quality-driven, and highly motivated QA/QC Engineer to lead and strengthen the company's Quality Control function across its diverse marine service operations.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement QA/QC policies, quality objectives, and procedures.
- Lead inspections, audits, quality surveillance for marine projects, and approve ITPs, method statements, and quality documentation.
- Manage NCRs, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure calibration laboratory compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Coordinate with Class Surveyors, Flag Authorities, OEMs, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor quality KPIs, prepare management reports, and conduct supplier/vendor audits.
- Support business development during technical reviews and customer audits.
- Willing to travel across the company's various branches as required
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum 4–5 years of proven QA/QC experience in the marine, offshore, or related industrial sector.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Class Rules (ABS, DNV, LR, BV, RINA, ClassNK, IRS), SOLAS, and IMO regulations.
Experience:
- Marine/Offshore QA/QC: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (Preferred)
