Key Responsibilities1. Student Health Care
- Provide first aid and immediate medical assistance to students and staff.
- Attend to minor injuries, illness, and health complaints during school hours.
- Monitor students with existing medical conditions (asthma, allergies, etc.).
- Maintain updated medical records of students.
2. Emergency Management
- Handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with parents and hospital authorities in case of serious illness/injury.
- Maintain emergency contact details and medical kits.
3. Health Records & Documentation
- Maintain individual student health files.
- Record daily visits to the medical room.
- Track immunization records.
- Prepare health reports when required.
4. Preventive Health & Awareness
- Conduct health check-up camps in coordination with management.
- Promote hygiene and health awareness among students.
- Educate students about nutrition, personal hygiene, and safety.
5. Medical Room Management
- Ensure medical room cleanliness and readiness.
- Maintain stock of medicines and first-aid supplies.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines as per guidelines.
6. Compliance & Policy
- Follow school health policies and safety protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of student medical information.
- Assist in implementing health and safety guidelines.
