Job Summary
Responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Set up tables, service stations, and restaurant areas before service.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
- Ensure correct presentation, portioning, and temperature of food and beverages.
- Check regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction and attend to their requests.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently during and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, service stations, crockery, cutlery, and restaurant areas.
- Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety practices.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate issues to the Supervisor or Manager when required.
- Assist with buffet setup, banquets, events, and other F&B operations as assigned.
- Maintain proper handling and care of crockery, glassware, cutlery, and other restaurant equipment.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Follow company policies, grooming standards, and F&B service procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and replenishment of service areas.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10th/12th standard; hospitality qualification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or catering operation is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Customer-focused and courteous personality.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Well-groomed, punctual, and disciplined.
Experience
0–2 years, depending on the level of the position. Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
