We are looking for a dedicated Banquet Manager and an Assistant Banquet Manager for The Altius Hotel, Chandigarh; to lead and manage all banquet operations at our hotel. The role includes managing events, coordinating with teams, and ensuring guests have a smooth and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all banquet events including weddings, conferences, corporate meetings, and parties.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements.
- Prepare event plans, layouts, and schedules.
- Supervise the banquet team and ensure smooth service during events.
- Work closely with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments.
- Maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and banquet setup.
- Ensure all safety and hygiene standards are followed.
- Prepare reports and assist with budgeting.
Requirements
- Experience in banquet or hotel operations (minimum 2–4 years preferred).
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service mindset.
