We are seeking an experienced Legal Officer to manage legal matters related to construction projects, contracts, compliance, property documentation, and regulatory requirements. The candidate will provide legal support to ensure smooth project execution and minimize legal risks.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support for construction projects, business operations, and contractual matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction agreements, subcontractor agreements, vendor contracts, and client agreements.
- Review project documents, tenders, BOQs, work orders, and contractual terms.
- Handle legal documentation related to land, property, approvals, licenses, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable construction laws, regulations, and government guidelines.
- Manage legal notices, disputes, claims, and litigation matters related to projects.
- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and government authorities when required.
- Conduct legal due diligence for property and project-related documents.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting construction activities.
- Support the project team in resolving contractual and legal issues.
- Maintain legal records, agreements, case files, and compliance documentation.
- Assist management in identifying legal risks and implementing preventive measures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
- 10 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in the construction, real estate, or infrastructure industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, property laws, RERA, compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal documentation.
- Good understanding of government approvals, permits, and statutory regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple legal matters.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
