Job Summary
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with safety and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities1. Receiving & Put-away
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against delivery documents.
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform stock counting and cycle counts as scheduled.
- Report stock shortages, damages, and excess inventory.
3. Order Picking & Packing
- Pick materials as per customer orders or production requirements.
- Pack products safely and accurately.
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of shipments.
4. Dispatch & Logistics Support
- Prepare goods for dispatch.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely shipment.
- Maintain dispatch records and supporting documents.
5. Warehouse Maintenance
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow 5S and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Ensure materials are stored according to company guidelines.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE as required.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or near misses.
- Adhere to company policies and warehouse SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass or equivalent.
- 0–3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Ability to handle physical work and lift materials when required.
