About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Digital Marketing to lead our Digital Marketing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving client success, leading cross-functional teams, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering measurable business outcomes. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, strategy, client management, team development, and performance marketing expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Digital Marketing team, including SEO, Performance Marketing, Social Media, Content, Design, and Client Servicing.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, team reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Identify skill gaps and organize training and development initiatives.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project execution.
Client Strategy & Relationship Management
- Act as the senior point of contact for key client accounts.
- Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Conduct periodic client review meetings and present campaign performance.
- Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and strategic consultation.
- Address escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and implement optimization strategies to maximize ROI.
- Ensure adherence to best practices across SEO, Paid Media, Social Media, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and Marketing Automation.
Operational Excellence
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for campaign execution and project management.
- Ensure proper requirement gathering, documentation, project planning, and internal communication.
- Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and workload distribution.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are followed before any deliverables are shared with clients.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all client accounts.
- Analyze campaign data and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports.
- Track team productivity and project profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement based on data-driven decision-making.
Budget & Revenue Management
- Manage digital advertising budgets across platforms.
- Ensure efficient budget utilization and pacing.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Support business growth by contributing to client retention and revenue expansion.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Creative, Development, and Client Servicing teams.
- Ensure seamless coordination across departments.
- Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Ensure documentation and project records are accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Digital marketing certifications (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.) are an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in Digital Marketing.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading digital marketing teams.
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts within a digital marketing agency.
- Strong experience in SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing, Analytics, and Marketing Automation.
