Role Description
As a CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient sterilization, decontamination, and preparation of medical and surgical equipment to ensure patient safety. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mumbai. Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting instruments, ensuring adherence to infection control guidelines, maintaining inventory, and assisting with operating room readiness as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Decontamination and Sterilization processes
- Thorough understanding of Infection Control standards and practices
- Familiarity with Operating Room procedures and workflows
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and the ability to handle medical instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Previous experience in a CSSD role or a healthcare setting is an advantage
- Relevant certification in CSSD technology or a related field is preferred
