Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Design Engineer Fresher to join our engineering team. The candidate will support the design and development of Special Purpose Machines (SPM), prepare 2D and 3D drawings, and assist senior engineers in project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Assist in the design and development of SPM and automation equipment.
- Prepare assembly drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and fabrication drawings.
- Support senior engineers in machine design modifications.
- Coordinate with production and assembly teams for design clarification.
- Ensure drawings are updated as per project requirements.
- Follow engineering standards and company design procedures.
- Maintain design documents and project records.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks (or Creo/CATIA).
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T basics.
- Knowledge of machine elements and mechanical design fundamentals.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn SPM machine design.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and MS Office.
- Internship or academic project in machine design is an added advantage.
