Turbine Commissioning Engineer
General Description
- Job -Turbine Commissioning Engineer
- Commissioning of Digital Governing/Turbines,MIV, and HM gates PSP plant
- Coordination with Installation & Commissioning team
- Coordination with Client
- Coordination with Engineering team
- Coordination with Vendors.
- Coordination with Sub contractor
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write the purpose for which the job exists
- Over all Turbine Commissioning of PSP plant
- Preparing schedule for commissioing and following the same
- Commissioning of Digital Governing system, HM Gates, MIV, Turbine Auxiliaries and Turbine dry and wet commissioning.
- Planning commissioning tools required
- Implementation of proper handing over process and LOTO,PTW at sites
- Sound knowledge of over all hydro plant commissioning.
- Hands on experience in doing commissioning in packages like BOP (Mech), Tur, Digital Governing, MIV.HM gates CW system,
- Preparing protocols and closing punch points
YOU’RE GOOD AT: Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate.
- Sound knowledge of Turbine commissioning
- Sound knowledge of MIV, Digital Governing system, OPU, HM gates and BOP (Mechanical system commissioning.
- Over all plant commissioning.
- Leadership skills
- Following HSE
YOU BRING: Experience & Qualifications (Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role)
- 8-10 years expereince in Hydro commissioing
- Hydro plants all type & PSP commissioning.
- Enginerring degree or equivalent
- Previous trainings done for Plant commissioning.
- Experience of doing abroad project
- Project management skills
- Sound knowledge of Hydro power plant Commissioning.
- Sound knowledge of Turbine excitation Commissioning.
- Sound knoweledge of governing system and all type of turbines
- Sound knowledge of OPU system and HM gates.
- Sound knowledge of BOP (Mech) equipment Commissioning.
- Sound knowledge of LOTO,PTW and HSE requirements.
- Good leadership skills
PREFERRED: Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess.
- O&M experience also added advantage.
- Multiskill for commissioning.
YOU’LL WORK WITH: Provide details pertaining to the reporting structure (Direct/Indirect).
- Directly reports to VP Commissioning Functional head
- At site reports to Commissioning coordinator
- Indicrect reports to PM/PD while posted on project
