Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures high standards of service and guest satisfaction in line with the organization’s policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide housekeeping staff in their daily duties
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
- Assign daily tasks and prepare duty rosters for housekeeping staff
- Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and materials
- Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and coordinate replenishment
- Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly
- Train new staff and ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards
- Coordinate with maintenance department for repair and upkeep issues
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff attendance
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Minimum: High School / Diploma
- Preferred: Diploma or Certification in Hotel Management or Hospitality
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
