We are building a dedicated Process Automation & Technology Team to improve internal systems, automate repetitive processes, and develop technology-driven solutions that increase efficiency across the organization.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize web applications and internal technology solutions for Rarefiction Media.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, REST APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with an interest in automation and AI-powered applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js.
- Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and manage MongoDB databases and application data.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external business tools.
- Implement authentication, authorization, user roles, and access controls.
- Develop dashboards, admin panels, internal tools, and business applications.
- Connect web applications with automation workflows and external services.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer to convert designs into functional interfaces.
- Work closely with the Process Automation Specialist on workflow and API integrations.
- Participate in application testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvements.
- Maintain clean, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Follow Git/GitHub-based development and version-control practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of React.js.
- Good knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB.
- Knowledge of TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Understanding of API integrations and webhooks.
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web development.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms.
- Experience with AI/API integrations.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience building dashboards and internal business tools.
- Knowledge of authentication systems such as JWT/OAuth.
- Experience working with OpenAI, Gemini, or other AI APIs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with strong practical experience, projects, and portfolios may also be considered.
