Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations and performance of the branch.
- Achieve business targets for customer acquisition, loan disbursement, and portfolio growth.
- Lead, train, and motivate Sales Officers, Branch Accountant, and other branch staff.
- Monitor collections, overdue accounts, and maintain portfolio quality (PAR/NPA control).
- Ensure proper customer verification, loan documentation, and adherence to credit policies.
- Conduct field visits for customer interactions, staff monitoring, and business development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, SHGs, local communities, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Review branch performance through MIS reports and implement corrective actions.
- Handle customer grievances and ensure timely resolution. Belstar also expects Branch Managers to participate in branch-level customer service committee activities.
- Maintain branch administration, security, cash discipline, and asset management.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline
- Experience in Microfinance, Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Good knowledge of lending, collections, and branch operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Valid driving licence and two-wheeler preferred for field operations.
