RIK Industries is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in Indian taxation, and capable of handling end-to-end accounting independently in a fast-paced manufacturing and E-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements and monitor profitability against budgets and targets.
- Handle GST, TDS, and income tax computations, filings, and reconciliations.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Carry out stock reconciliation regularly, matching physical inventory with book records and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage E-commerce settlement reconciliation (Amazon and other marketplace payouts) against sales and fees.
- Oversee inventory and cost accounting in coordination with operations.
- Maintain and monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and support internal and external audits.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and consultants as required.
- Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting (B.Com / M.Com); CA Inter or equivalent is an added advantage.
- [5–8] years of proven experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or e-commerce.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with E-commerce / Amazon Seller Central accounting and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of Zoho Books or other accounting software.
- Experience managing or mentoring a small accounts team.
