Job Summary
We are seeking a confident, articulate, and engaging News Anchor based in Agra to deliver accurate, timely, and compelling news broadcasts across television, digital, and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local, regional, and national news, excellent on-camera presence, exceptional journalistic integrity, and the ability to report breaking news with professionalism and composure.
Key Responsibilities
- Present live and recorded news broadcasts in a clear, engaging, and credible manner.
- Research, write, edit, and deliver news stories with accuracy, fairness, and impartiality.
- Cover local news developments, events, and issues relevant to Agra and surrounding regions.
- Conduct live and recorded interviews with newsmakers, experts, officials, and community members.
- Report breaking news and provide timely updates as events unfold.
- Collaborate with producers, reporters, editors, and technical teams to ensure high-quality broadcasts.
- Verify facts and ensure all content complies with editorial standards and legal requirements.
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute relevant story ideas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in news anchoring, reporting, or broadcast journalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Strong on-camera presentation and interviewing abilities.
- Strong research, fact-checking, and editorial judgment skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience covering live breaking news and local events in Agra or Uttar Pradesh.
- Knowledge of digital journalism and multimedia storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media content creation and audience engagement.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
