Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Audit Associate to join our Audit & Accounts team. This role is ideal for candidates at an early stage of their career who are eager to learn and grow in the field of audit and accounting. The candidate will support senior team members in audit assignments, accounting tasks, and documentation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in audit assignments and accounting verification work
- Verify invoices, vouchers, bills, ledgers, and supporting documents
- Pass basic accounting entries in Tally / Tally Prime
- Support ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation
- Prepare audit schedules and working papers
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist in GST, TDS, and compliance-related documentation
- Maintain proper audit documentation and records
- Prepare reports and data summaries using MS Excel
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for documentation
- Support day-to-day audit and accounting operations
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Understanding of journal entries, ledgers, and bookkeeping
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Com or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (mandatory)
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting/audit/finance preferred
- Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals may also apply
- Prior experience in a CA firm will be an added advantage
- Comfortable working with Tally and Excel
