Position Title: Senior SAP SD Consultant / SAP SD Lead
Experience Required: Minimum 12+ Years of Relevant SAP SD Experience
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with 12+ years of strong functional expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. The candidate should have extensive experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, support, and enhancements with deep knowledge in order-to-cash (O2C) processes, pricing, billing, shipping, and customer master management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering SAP SD solutions aligned with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP SD implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
Analyze business requirements and design SAP SD solutions to optimize sales and distribution processes.
Configure and support SAP SD functionalities including:
Sales Order Management
Pricing & Taxation
Billing & Invoicing
Shipping & Delivery Processing
Credit Management
Returns & Refunds
Output Determination
Customer Master Data Management
Work closely with business users to improve Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
Integrate SAP SD with SAP MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and CRM modules.
Support SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration initiatives.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP technical teams for custom developments.
Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
Provide post-go-live support and resolve critical production issues.
Mentor junior consultants and provide end-user training/documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD functional consulting.
Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
Extensive experience in pricing procedures, billing, shipping, and sales configuration.
Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM, FI, PP, and WM/EWM modules.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA SD functionalities and best practices.
Knowledge of IDOCs, interfaces, and third-party system integrations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in onsite/offshore delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP SD certification preferred.
Experience with SAP GTS, CRM, or SAP TM is an added advantage.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
