- Core Responsibilities
- Data Preparation: Clean, process, and structure raw data, which includes fixing missing values, removing duplicates, and managing outliers.
- Data Analysis: Write basic to intermediate queries, automate reporting workflows, and interpret datasets using tools like Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Visualization & Dashboards: Design charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards (e.g., in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) to present findings.
- Report Generation: Summarize analysis results into clear, concise reports or presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support various departments (e.g., marketing, operations, finance, or HR) by answering ad-hoc data requests.
- Key Requirements & Skills
- Technical Proficiencies: Fundamental knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and programming languages commonly used for data analysis (Python or R).
- Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred.Analytical Mindset: Strong logical reasoning, critical thinking, and a natural curiosity for identifying trends and anomalies.
- Soft Skills: Clear written and verbal communication to explain complex data insights in simple terms.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
