Job Overview
The HR Manager at Little Big World will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire spectrum of human resource functions at the Head Office and across all Little Big World centers. This role involves talent acquisition, employee engagement, policy implementation, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives to support the organization’s growth and ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for all roles across Little Big World, from the corporate team to center staff.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
- Employee Engagement and Retention
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Develop strategies to enhance employee retention, including recognition programs, career development plans, and regular feedback sessions.
- Organize team-building activities, town halls, and events to promote a collaborative environment.
- Performance Management
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and transparent evaluations.
- Develop and monitor Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for employees in coordination with department heads.
- Policy Development and Compliance
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures in line with labor laws and organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, gratuity, TDS, and other labor laws.
- Act as the point of contact for any internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Identify training needs and develop annual training calendars for employees across all levels.
- HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Oversee payroll inputs, leave management, and employee records to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
- Maintain and update HR softwares for employee data and process automation.
- Conflict Resolution and Grievance Handling
- Act as a trusted advisor for employees, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and constructive manner.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) committee and conduct related training sessions.
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals and support business growth.
- Conduct workforce analytics to identify trends and make data-driven HR decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the education or services sector is preferred.
- Certifications: HR certifications like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR are an added advantage.

Additional Details
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday working (Occasional Sunday work may be required). Should be open to travel across Pune centres.
- Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Salary Range: As per industry standards
- Age Criteria: 35 – 40 years
