Position : Estimation Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Estimation Engineer to support pre-sales and project teams by preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Estimation & Costing
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, and material take-offs
- Develop detailed cost estimates (materials, labor, overheads)
- Prepare budgetary and final quotations
- Identify cost optimization and value engineering opportunities
2. Technical Evaluation
- Conduct site visits for technical assessment
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare technical proposals and clarifications
- Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams
3. Tendering & Documentation
- Participate in tender preparation and submission
- Maintain cost databases and historical records
- Prepare vendor comparison statements
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
4. Project Coordination
- Liaise with clients to understand project scope
- Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, and execution teams
- Support project handover with detailed estimation data
- Resolve estimation vs execution discrepancies
5. Cost Control & Analysis
- Track actual costs vs estimates
- Highlight deviations and risks
- Support profitability and margin analysis
- Improve estimation accuracy and efficiency
Key Skills & Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in construction estimation
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and costing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools
- Understanding of tendering, contracts, and procurement
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in waterproofing or construction industry preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
