Role Overview
Transparent Overseas is looking for an experienced Production & Technical Manager – Wax Candles to manage end-to-end candle production operations. The candidate should have strong expertise in wax filling, production planning, quality control, and technical troubleshooting for export-quality candles.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complete wax candle production and filling operations
- Manage wax blends, fragrance ratios, wick placement, and pouring temperatures
- Plan daily/weekly production schedules and ensure timely output
- Handle troubleshooting of candle defects like cracking, sinkholes, frosting, and tunneling
- Ensure quality checks, burn tests, scent throw evaluation, and export standards compliance
- Coordinate with merchandising, PPC, QC, and store departments
- Lead and manage production teams and floor operations
- Monitor machine maintenance and minimize production downtime
- Maintain SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping on the production floor
- Submit production reports, rejection analysis, and performance updates
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years experience in candle/wax manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of paraffin, soy, gel, and palm wax
- Experience in wax filling machines and production operations
- Knowledge of wick management, fragrance blending, and defect resolution
- Strong leadership and production team handling skills
- Understanding of export quality standards and inspections
- Graduate/Diploma in Production/Chemical/Mechanical field preferred
