The Manager – Quantity Surveying & Quality Check is responsible for managing project costs, quantity surveying activities, and quality inspections to ensure construction projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project budgets.
- Monitor project costs and control expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor bills and payment applications.
- Manage variations, claims, and contract-related documentation.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate project cost and quality records.
- Prepare periodic cost and quality reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and construction quality management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and quality standards.
