Machine Design & Calculations
- Strong understanding of basic machine design concepts and engineering math/calculations.
- Good knowledge of engineering materials and how parts are manufactured.
- Experience working on PLC-operated machines.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics is a big plus.
Drafting & Software
- Fast and accurate 2D drafting skills in AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling specifically in AutoCAD Inventor.
- Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Drawings & Component Selection
- Clear knowledge of engineering drawings, including proper dimensioning, limits, fits, and tolerances.
- Experience making General Arrangement (GA) drawings, machine layout drawings, and full assembly drawings with BOMs.
- Experience drawing specific parts like shafts, sprockets, pulleys, gears, structural steel frames, and sheet metal parts.
- Experience choosing standard parts from catalogs, such as chains, bearings, gearboxes, induction motors, VFDs, hardware, and pneumatic parts.
Documentation & Communication
- Experience creating item codes and Bill of Materials (BOMs) in ERP systems like SAP or Baan.
- Ability to write clear machine instruction and operation manuals.
- Good spoken and written communication skills to coordinate with different teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver new GA drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and BOMs on time with zero mistakes.
- Update and correct drawings based on feedback from the Quality Assurance (QA), Production, and Planning teams.
- Update corresponding BOM changes in the ERP system to keep records accurate.
- Create "As-Built" drawings after machines are manufactured to reflect any workshop modifications.
- Provide technical support and assist the Sales, QA, Production, and Planning departments whenever they need design inputs.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
