Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Structural BIM Modeler with a strong background in structural systems to join our new Bangalore office. In this role, you will lead the creation of high-quality Structural BIM 3D models for high-profile US-based projects. You will be instrumental in developing detailed design drawings, translating complex engineering concepts into precise models, and maintaining accuracy across international standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality, production-ready Structural BIM 3D models for international (US) commercial and residential projects.
- Develop detailed structural design drawings, plans, and construction documents using Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
- Draft and detail plans for foundations, elevated slabs, framing, and lateral systems based on preliminary engineering concepts, calculations, and code specifications.
- Build, manage, and maintain custom Revit families, templates, and project standards.
- Coordinate directly with cross-functional teams to ensure clash-free modeling and seamless delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Structural BIM, with high proficiency in Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of building structural systems, with hands-on exposure to drafting, modeling, and detailing across concrete, structural steel, or timber framing.
- Ability to exercise independent technical judgment, prioritize tasks under deadline pressure, and maintain rigorous quality control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- (Note: Prior experience on US structural codes and projects is a strong plus, but hands-on structural modeling expertise and adaptability are primary.)
