Solution Architect – Golang / Cloud / Cybersecurity
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong expertise in Golang, cloud architecture, distributed systems, and cybersecurity platforms to own the end-to-end architecture of a highly scalable cloud-based cybersecurity product.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed systems handling millions of assets, endpoints, records, or events. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Security, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to define scalable architecture, establish technical standards, and drive the evolution of the platform.
This is a hands-on architecture leadership role requiring strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence multiple engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture across multiple cybersecurity product modules, including detection, response, asset inventory, analytics, and reporting.
- Design highly scalable and resilient systems capable of supporting millions of assets/endpoints and high-volume event processing.
- Define cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, and cost optimization.
- Design multi-tenant, multi-account, and multi-region architectures with high availability and disaster recovery.
- Define architecture for distributed systems using event-driven architecture, messaging, caching, data partitioning, and eventual consistency.
- Architect and govern integrations with third-party platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, ITSM/ticketing, identity providers, cloud security platforms, and threat intelligence systems.
- Establish reusable integration patterns, APIs, webhooks, message queues, data contracts, and integration frameworks.
- Create and maintain architecture roadmaps, capacity plans, technical strategies, and technology standards aligned with business and product objectives.
- Define architectural guardrails covering scalability, security, reliability, API design, data flow, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical design reviews, and threat-modeling exercises.
- Identify scalability bottlenecks, performance issues, security risks, and single points of failure before they impact production.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams as the technical architecture owner.
- Evaluate and select technologies for databases, messaging systems, orchestration, Kubernetes, service mesh, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Support enterprise customers and presales teams with architecture discussions for complex and large-scale deployments.
- Prepare architecture documentation including C4 diagrams, ADRs, system architecture diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and technical design documents.
- Drive continuous improvements in performance, availability, security, compliance, reliability, and cloud cost optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–12+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
- At least 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect / Software Architect.
- Strong experience with Golang (Go) and modern backend/service architecture.
- Proven experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Experience handling millions of assets, records, endpoints, events, or transactions.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with multi-tenant, multi-region, and multi-account cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of:
- Distributed systems
- Microservices architecture
- Event-driven architecture
- Data partitioning and sharding
- Eventual consistency
- Caching
- Message queues/streaming
- API design
- High availability and disaster recovery
- Experience designing enterprise integration architectures using APIs, webhooks, queues, and asynchronous processing.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, observability, and cost optimization.
- Strong cybersecurity architecture knowledge and an ability to think about systems from an adversarial/security perspective.
- Experience working with multiple engineering teams and influencing architecture decisions without direct reporting authority.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical architecture into documentation understandable by both engineering teams and senior business stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with cybersecurity products or platforms such as SIEM, EDR, CNAPP, CSPM, SOAR, threat detection, or security analytics.
- Experience integrating with platforms such as Splunk, ServiceNow, Okta, AWS Security Hub, or similar enterprise security ecosystems.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes at scale.
