Role Summary
The Senior Procurement Executive will be responsible for end-to-end material procurement for industrial construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing, cost optimization, vendor coordination, and compliance with project specifications and company procurement policies.
The role demands strong negotiation skills, vendor management capability, SAP preferred and close coordination with execution and planning teams to avoid project delays.
Key Responsibilities
Material Sourcing & Procurement
- Float RFQs based on BOQ and technical specifications.
- Prepare techno-commercial comparative statements.
- Conduct initial commercial negotiations.
- Process Purchase Orders (PO) after internal approvals.
- Track long-lead and critical materials.
Vendor Management
- Identify and develop new vendors.
- Maintain Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Evaluate vendor performance (quality, delivery, pricing).
- Ensure vendors comply with project specifications.
Cost Control & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing to achieve cost efficiency.
- Benchmark rates across projects.
- Assist Procurement Head in final negotiations.
- Support cost-saving initiatives.
ERP & Documentation
- Raise PR & PO in SAP
- Maintain procurement tracker and delivery schedule.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit and billing coordination.
- Coordinate GRN process with stores/site team.
Coordination with Site & Planning
- Work closely with Planning & Execution teams.
- Ensure materials are delivered as per project schedule.
- Prevent material shortages at site.
- Support QA/QC for inspection and approvals.
Key Skills Required

Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma (Civil Engineering)
- 3–6 years of experience in construction procurement
- Experience in industrial projects preferred
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
