Manager – Finance & Accounts / Costing:
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
Qualification: CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / equivalent qualification.
Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing / engineering / foundry / automotive industry.
Preferred: Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manufacturing costing and financial analysis, rather than only routine accounting.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day Finance & Accounts activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and monitor product-wise and process-wise costing for foundry/manufacturing operations.
- Calculate and analyse material cost, melting cost, labour cost, power/fuel cost, consumables, overheads and conversion cost.
- Monitor actual cost vs. standard/budgeted cost and identify cost variances.
- Prepare monthly cost sheets, MIS reports, cost statements and management dashboards.
- Analyse production cost per MT, rejection/rework cost, scrap recovery and process losses.
- Work closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, QA and HR to control operating costs.
- Monitor inventory valuation, material consumption, stock variance and slow/non-moving inventory.
- Analyse raw material, alloy, coke/metal, sand, consumables and other manufacturing input costs.
- Prepare annual budgets, cost budgets and departmental expense budgets.
- Monitor budget vs. actual expenditure and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in pricing decisions, quotation costing and customer profitability analysis.
- Calculate profitability by product, customer and production line/process, wherever required.
- Control overhead expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, cash-flow, working-capital and financial analysis reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax and statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and other external agencies.
- Establish and improve financial controls, approval systems and accounting procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management for business decisions.
