The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs.

Job Summary
The Mobilizer will lead community outreach and youth mobilization activities for the GDA (General Duty Assistant) , and Elder Care Training Programme. The role focuses on identifying eligible youth, counselling them about healthcare career opportunities, and supporting their onboarding, registration, and retention in the programme.
The Mobilizer will build strong relationships with youth, families, and community stakeholders to ensure successful enrolment and participation in the training programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct mobilization drives in assigned areas to promote GDA & Elder Care training programmes
- Identify and mobilize eligible youth interested in healthcare careers (hospital, home care, elder care)
- Conduct needs assessments with households and youth to identify training needs and career interests
- Provide career counselling and explain benefits of GDA & Elder Care training and job opportunities
- Facilitate end-to-end onboarding including registration, documentation, and eligibility verification
- Support candidates in completing enrolment and ensure smooth batch joining
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure attendance, participation, and retention
- Motivate and guide youth to prevent dropouts and achieve training completion
- Build strong relationships with community members, parents, and local leaders
- Coordinate with the centre team for admissions, batch planning, and programme execution
- Assist in organizing mobilisation camps, awareness drives, and community meetings
- Maintain accurate data, records, and reports of mobilization, admissions, and follow-ups
- Support placement-related activities and track candidate progression into jobs
- Assist the Centre Coordinator in day-to-day activities such as documentation, vendor coordination, and meeting arrangements
- Act as a role model and represent the organisation positively in the community

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, field work, or skill development

- Experience working with youth in livelihood / vocational training programmes preferred
- Good communication skills in Hindi and basic English
