About the Role
As a Web Developer, you'll design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. You'll collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and code quality.
What You'll Do
Web Development
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend code
- Build new website features and enhance existing functionality
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and user experience
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and backend systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
Front-End & Back-End Development
- Develop interactive user interfaces using modern frameworks and libraries
- Create reusable components and maintain scalable codebases
- Build and maintain server-side functionality and databases
- Implement authentication, security, and data protection best practices
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
- Manage website deployments and version control
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards
- Test applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance
- Identify and fix bugs before deployment
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements
- Maintain technical documentation for projects and updates
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers
- Participate in planning sessions and development meetings
- Recommend new technologies and development best practices
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development projects
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, Java, or .NET
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and SEO best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in web development, software engineering, front-end development, back-end development, full-stack development, or a related technical role is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong technical skills and a portfolio of web projects are encouraged to apply.
