Skills:
Knowledge of manual testing on web- and mobile-based applications, SQL basics, knowledge of the software testing life cycle, testing methodologies & testing tools, bug tracking, bug reporting, generating test cases & scenarios, documenting in Excel, good communication & logical skills.
Description: As a software tester, you will play a crucial role in working closely with software developers, external partners, & project managers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the software is ready to be deployed for users through manual testing. This involves conducting comprehensive testing with proper documentation & following established procedures. In addition to your testing duties, you will need to become familiar with our software, FlyPal®, in order to effectively test its functionality & performance. This will require you to gain a deep understanding of the software's features & capabilities. Additionally, you will also be responsible for handling & resolving any customer complaints that may arise, demonstrating your ability to work under pressure & maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Good understanding of web & mobile-based projects.
Developing test plans & test data for requested enhancements & systems.
Improve upon the usability & functionality of existing products.
End-to-end testing of the product in order to fulfil user requests.
Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of complaints & comments as well as actions taken.
Follow up to ensure that customer requirements, complaints, and comments were registered & actions were taken.
Refer unsolved customer grievances or special requests to the designated department for further investigation.
Interact with customers via Phone, email, Skype, etc., to provide information about products & services, take orders, or obtain details of complaints.
Should be able to give a demo of the software to clients (on-site / online)
Weekend support for clients via e-mail, Skype, and telephone whenever required.
Reporting day-to-day activities to the CEO / project manager/team leader.
Keep up-to-date with current industry trends & technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned and commit to working for the long term.
