About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our Design & Build team. The role involves developing and maintaining accurate Building Information Models (BIM) for commercial interior, architectural, and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of BIM software, construction drawings, and coordination processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models based on architectural, structural, MEP, and design drawings.
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction documentation from BIM models.
- Convert design concepts and 2D drawings into coordinated BIM models.
- Coordinate BIM models across Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interior Design, and other disciplines.
- Identify and resolve design clashes and inconsistencies using BIM coordination tools.
- Prepare and update models based on design revisions and site requirements.
- Generate accurate drawings, schedules, quantities, and model-based documentation.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution requirements.
- Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Support quantity take-offs and material schedules where required.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and incorporate feedback into models.
- Maintain proper file naming, model versioning, and BIM documentation.
- Assist project teams with BIM-related technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Good understanding of architectural and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of building construction, materials, and detailing.
- Basic knowledge of MEP coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and clash detection is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret plans, sections, elevations, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work within project deadlines and handle multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Revit certification or relevant BIM certification is an advantage.
- Experience working on commercial interiors, office spaces, retail, hospitality, or commercial construction projects will be preferred.
