JOB ROLE: -
- Design & Development of Dashboard (I/P)/ Console and other interior automotive parts
- Design & Development of Automotive interiors decorative parts, soft touch interior parts.
- Countermeasure planning, as necessary, based on Design/ Quality Reviews.
- Benchmarking perceived Quality: Perceived Quality benchmarking of competitor including Exterior and Interior for the vehicle.
- Setting PQ targets and providing solutions to enhance vehicle perceived quality during new model development, considering cost and weight optimization.
- Set up a qualitative and quantitative process for PQ evaluation of the vehicle.
REQUIRMENTS: -
- Able to work/ lead the CFT and monitor PQ, with design and engineering for enhancing perceived quality in new model development.
- Good understanding of judgement parameters for complete perceived quality evaluation of a car.
- Understand and analyze the PQ details in section finalization for improving fit and finish throughout the vehicle.
- Understanding on touch and feel is desirable.
- To have great interpersonal skills to get the work done from other engineering departments/ styling department.
- Car driving preferred.
- Should be quite good in CAD software e.g. UGNX
- Should be technically well versed with systems/sub-systems of the vehicle, packaging strategy, occupant packaging strategy.
- Strong analytical skills, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Ability to understand the Engineering requests and deliver as per the expectations.
