Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Research Analyst to work on Technology and Outsourcing industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT and BPO services landscape, with the ability to analyse capabilities across various service providers and enterprises. The role involves synthesizing complex information, developing expertise in specific technology or service lines, and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders. In addition, the candidate is expected to have strong English writing and speaking skills, experience in performing secondary and exposure to primary research exercises, detailed analysis, model development, and exceptional organizational skills. Awareness on Provider Longlisting, Location Assessment, and Consulting Experience is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on IT and BPO services, focusing on the capabilities of diverse service providers. Analyze trends in technology and outsourcing to produce in-depth reports that guide strategic decision-making.

AI-Enabled Research Excellence: Effectively leverage GenAI and other advanced digital tools to enhance research efficiency and depth, using the right tools to research, analyze, synthesize insights, and produce high-quality research content.

End-to-End Research Management: Manage the entire research process, from defining research objectives to final report delivery, ensuring the highest quality of outputs.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with service providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to gather critical information and insights.

Data Analysis & Visualization: Utilize advanced Excel to analyze data and create compelling dashboards that support strategic insights and recommendations.

Content Creation: Write blogs, articles, and points of view on relevant topics, contributing to thought leadership and market positioning.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with a diverse team of analysts and consultants, contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment. Communicate complex findings effectively to senior executives and board-level stakeholders.

Expertise in IT & BPO Services: Strong understanding of ICT services and technology, including Digital Transformation, IoT, AI/ML, Cloud, and SaaS.

AI & Digital Research Enablement: Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage GenAI and advanced digital tools to enhance research productivity, accelerate analysis, and produce high-quality, insight-driven content.

Communication & Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to write and present complex information clearly and persuasively.

Self-Management & Teamwork: Highly organized with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Proficiency: Proven ability to extract and synthesize meaningful insights from quantitative and qualitative data. Proficient in using tools like Factset, S&P Capital IQ, Hoovers, and Factiva.

Advanced Technical Skills: Proficient in Advanced Excel.
Education level and experience: -
Graduation: Engineering/Statistics/Econometrics from reputable institution preferably with MBA (Finance, Marketing, Operation, Supply-chain, Systems, Data Analytics).

Overall good academic track-record

Minimum 3 years of Experience in Services Sales-Enablement, Corporate Strategy, Bid Management, Market Research, Opportunity Qualification, Financial and Risk Modelling type of roles.

Proficient with MS Excel (basic, functions, Power Pivots, logical and functional formulas), and PPT Storyboarding

Research Analyst – Minimum 2 years of experience in Secondary Research, Primary Research, Data Analysis, IT Services and BPS Market knowledge
