Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization's financial operations and drive long-term financial growth. The CFO will oversee financial planning, budgeting, accounting, compliance, taxation, and risk management while supporting the leadership team in making informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, GST, TDS, and financial reporting standards.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Manage banking relationships, audits, investments, and funding requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and risk management practices.
- Support business expansion through financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Present financial reports and business insights to the management team.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Evaluate financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting, taxation, auditing, and corporate finance.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, MS Excel, and financial management software.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the education or service industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of business expansion, financial restructuring, and investment planning.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational growth.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
