Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse & Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day warehouse operations and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely receipt and dispatch of materials to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Issue materials as per departmental requirements.
- Conduct regular stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of warehouse items.
- Coordinate material dispatch and receipt.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
Purchase
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Identify and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations and compare prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase documentation.
- Maintain procurement records and vendor databases.
- Coordinate with finance and other departments for purchase-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma or B.Tech/B.E in Electrical.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or purchasing.
- Freshers with relevant internships or training may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management practices.
- Understanding of procurement and vendor management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, or similar) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, healthcare, or logistics industries.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods such as FIFO/FEFO.
- Basic understanding of GST documentation and purchase processes.
