We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with a strong interest in backend development using Python technologies. The candidate will work on scalable business software and contribute to API development, asynchronous task processing, database operations, and backend architecture improvements.
This role is suitable for candidates seeking hands-on exposure to real production-level software development and modern backend technologies.
- Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python frameworks
- Work on existing ERP/HRMS/Inventory Management modules
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Optimize backend performance and database queries
- Work with asynchronous background jobs using Celery
- Debug issues and provide production support when required
- Collaborate with senior developers on architecture and feature implementation
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Good knowledge of Python programming
- Experience with Django and FastAPI
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend development
- Basic understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Familiarity with asynchronous task processing using Celery
- Basic understanding of Redis
- Knowledge of Git and version control
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Docker
- Basic knowledge of Linux server environment
- Understanding of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth)
- Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI
- Exposure to deployment workflows and cloud platforms will be an added advantage
Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
