Job Description
We are hiring an experienced HMC Setter cum Operator for a leading manufacturing company in Coimbatore.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) machines.
- Perform programming and machining for new components.
- Select suitable tools and fixtures based on production requirements.
- Optimize cycle time to improve productivity and machine efficiency.
- Modify and reset existing programs as required.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain production quality.
- Perform routine inspections and maintain production records.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Follow safety and quality standards during operations.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HMC machine setting and operation.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and programming.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Experience in cycle time optimization and productivity improvement.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
