We are looking for an experienced PHP Laravel Developer who can quickly understand an existing Laravel application, contribute to ongoing development, resolve technical issues, and deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Understand, analyze, and work on an existing Laravel codebase with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
- Optimize MySQL databases, queries, and application performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, SMS, email, and authentication services.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Implement new features without affecting existing functionality.
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following Laravel best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel Framework.
- Excellent understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong knowledge of MySQL database design and query optimization.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
- Knowledge of authentication, middleware, queues, caching, and role-based access control.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React.js, Vue.js, Livewire, or Inertia.js.
- Knowledge of Redis, Docker, Linux, Apache/Nginx, and deployment processes.
- Experience working on ERP, CRM, eCommerce, FinTech, or enterprise applications.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional PHP Laravel development experience.
- A strong portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing relevant Laravel projects is an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
- Immediate Joiners Only. Candidates who can join immediately or within 7 days will be given preference.
- Candidates based in Punjab or willing to relocate to Ludhiana are preferred.
- Must have experience working on live production Laravel applications.
- Should be confident in understanding, maintaining, debugging, and enhancing existing Laravel projects, not just developing applications from scratch.
- Must be able to identify bugs, optimize existing modules, and implement new features with minimal guidance.
- Candidates with experience in ERP, CRM, eCommerce, or FinTech applications will be given preference.
Important Note
This position is not suitable for freshers, trainees, or candidates whose experience is limited to academic or personal projects. We are looking for a developer who can quickly understand an existing Laravel codebase, contribute from day one, and deliver production-ready solutions with minimal supervision.
