Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling TallyPrime software licenses, Tally on Cloud services, and related solutions to businesses across various industries in Chennai and surrounding regions. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base, building long-term client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect potential clients — including SMEs, trading firms, manufacturers, retailers, and service businesses — who can benefit from TallyPrime and Real Solutions' suite of offerings. Conduct product demonstrations and walkthroughs of TallyPrime's features including GST compliance, inventory management, payroll, e-invoicing, and cloud access. Understand client business needs and recommend the right Tally product — Silver or Gold license, subscription or lifetime plans — along with add-on services like REAL Tally on Cloud and REAL Pay payroll software. Follow up on leads generated through digital campaigns, referrals, and walk-ins, and convert them into paying customers. Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales within company guidelines. Coordinate with the implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management. Gather market intelligence and feedback to help refine offerings and identify new opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field. Prior experience of 1–3 years in software or IT product sales is preferred, though freshers with strong communication skills are welcome to apply. A basic understanding of accounting, GST, or Tally software is a strong advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Tamil and English are essential. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with field sales and client visits across Chennai.
