Role Objective
Engage prospective students and parents through effective telephonic communication, provide clear
information about programs, and convert inquiries into confirmed enrolments.
Key Requirements
Minimum 0-2 years’ experience handling student and parent interactions in academic
institutions.
Strong communication and counselling skills with ability to build trust quickly.
Proven track record of converting calls into admissions/enrolments.
Target‑driven, resilient, and professional in approach.
Should be fluent in English and Tamil. Knowledge of any other Indian languages will be
considered an added advantage.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline preferred; commerce, economics, or public
policy background is an advantage).
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or telecalling
roles within academic institutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication in English and Tamil (additional regional
languages are a plus).
Counselling Ability: Demonstrated skill in engaging with students and parents empathetically
and persuasively.
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM/admission management
systems.
Professional Attributes: Target‑driven, resilient, and able to handle objections with patience
and confidence.
Responsibilities
Initiate and manage calls with prospective students and parents.
Present program details and admission processes persuasively.
Follow up consistently until enrolment is completed.
Maintain accurate records of calls and conversions.
