Eminentsoft Technologies is a growing IT solutions company based in Kochi, Kerala, providing Web Development, Software Development, ERP & CRM Solutions, Mobile App Development, SEO, Digital Marketing, Branding, and Creative Services to clients in India and international markets.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team and gain practical experience in search engine optimization and digital marketing.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the SEO team in conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Perform basic on-page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URL optimization, and content optimization.
- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.
- Help identify relevant and quality backlink opportunities.
- Assist in website SEO audits and identify basic technical and content-related issues.
- Support local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization activities.
- Assist with SEO content planning and optimization of website pages and blog content.
- Monitor keyword rankings, website traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, and other SEO tools.
- Prepare basic SEO reports and maintain SEO activity records.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and best practices.
- Work closely with the SEO, content, web development, and digital marketing teams.
Requirements
- Graduate or pursuing a degree/diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts.
- Good knowledge of computers and internet research.
- Basic understanding of HTML is an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Willingness to learn and work with different SEO tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
- Freshers with a strong interest in SEO and digital marketing are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Local SEO.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of keyword research tools.
- Basic understanding of content optimization.
- Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms is an advantage.
