Job Summary
Himalaya Refrigeration Company is looking for a skilled Service Technician to handle installation, servicing, and maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial cooling systems and ensuring smooth system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical faults
- Handle breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance activities
- Carry out gas charging, leak detection, and system testing
- Read and understand technical drawings and system layouts
- Ensure proper functioning of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls
- Maintain service reports, job cards, and documentation
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients when required
- Coordinate with internal teams for service planning and spare parts
Required Qualifications
- ITI electrician or wiremen / Diploma Mechanical, or Electrical
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in refrigeration/HVAC service
- Experience in industrial refrigeration systems preferred
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong practical knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems
- Hands-on experience in fault finding and repair work
- Knowledge of compressors, gas charging, and control systems
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use service tools and instruments
- Problem-solving and technical skills
- Ability to work independently in field conditions
