Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for end-to-end profitability MIS preparation – Model/Variant wise across business segments, including advanced financial analysis, margin optimization assessments, variance analysis, and generation of actionable business insights to facilitate strategic and operational decisions by leadership teams
- Drive digital transformation within the department by leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and automation tools to enhance cost visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, and enable data-driven decision-making. Handling Costing related special projects
- Manage SAP CO module Closure processes covering cost centre accounting, settlements, overhead allocations, product costing, profitability analysis (CO-PA) to ensure accurate inventory valuations & financial results.
- Design and deliver insightful Power BI dashboards, MIS reports and executive presentations focused on critical business KPIs, while leading automation and process optimization initiatives to improve reporting effectiveness and business performance
- Manage end-to-end cost accounting operations, including inventory valuation, COGS analysis, statutory compliance & required audit related support to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Preparation and maintenance of CARR & driving cost audit in compliance with standards, providing comprehensive support for tax audit.
- Serve as a finance business partner to Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations functions, delivering actionable insights and supporting strategic and operational decision-making
Skill Set Requirement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with expertise in cost accounting, profitability analysis, variance analysis, cost control, and margin optimization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Cost Accounting principles, IND AS, inventory valuation, financial controls, statutory compliance, and audit requirements.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to develop insightful dashboards, management reports, and data-driven business presentations.
- Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modules, including costing, controlling, month-end closing, financial analysis, and utilization of data analytics tools for business insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and influence business decision-making.
- Strong digital and analytical mindset, leveraging automation, AI, and business intelligence tools to enhance reporting efficiency, process effectiveness, and strategic decision support.
