Job Title: Factory Inspector
Location: Jalan Industrial Complex, Jangalpur, Howrah, West Bengal
Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing
Experience: 2–3 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor manufacturing activities at our factory and vendor facilities.
- Visit vendor factories to inspect their manufacturing facilities, processes, machinery, and quality systems.
- Conduct inspection of components and parts as per drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Check dimensional accuracy, material quality, workmanship, and overall compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding quality issues, rework, and corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of inspections and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and engineering teams as required.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering background with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, measurements, and inspection methods.
- Experience in fabrication, machining, or engineering component inspection will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel to vendor/factory locations for inspections.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates from engineering/manufacturing industries will be preferred.
