Payments & Wire Exchange Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Automation We are seeking a Payments & Wire Exchange SME with strong automation testing and process validation skills to support enterprise payment platforms. The role focuses on wire transfers, FX payments, STP processing, compliance validation, and automation-driven quality assurance across domestic and international payment systems. The ideal candidate will bridge business domain expertise with technical automation capabilities, ensuring scalable, accurate, and compliant payment operations. Key Responsibilities Payments & Wire Exchange Domain Act as Subject Matter Expert for: Domestic & international wire transfers FX payments and currency conversions SWIFT (MT/MX), SEPA, ACH, as applicable) Payment lifecycle: initiation, validation, routing, settlement, and reconciliation Validate STP (Straight Through Processing) rules and exception handling. Ensure compliance with: AML, sanctions (OFAC), KYC Payment regulations and bank-specific controls Support requirement validation, business rule clarification, and defect triage. Automation & Quality Engineering Design and implement automation frameworks for payment and FX workflows. Automate validation for: Message formats (SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022) FX rate application & tolerance checks Cut-off times, holiday calendars, and settlement logic Collaborate with QA and Dev teams on: Regression automation suites API-level testing and validation Data-driven and rule-based automation Reduce manual testing and false failures using intelligent automation strategies. Stakeholder & Delivery Support Work closely with: Product Owners Business Analysts Developers Compliance and Operations teams Review and contribute to: User stories Acceptance criteria Test strategy and Definition of Done (DoD) Support UAT and production issue analysis as a domain expert.
