Glomo is India's first licensed Payment Service Provider (PSP) at GIFT IFSC and a pioneer in cross-border payments. Backed by 100+ years of combined industry expertise, we deliver seamless, compliant financial solutions that power India's global ambitions. Build the infrastructure behind India's cross-border economy from the ground up.
Own and mature Glomo's enterprise risk framework and lead the risk function as we scale. Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, the role spans enterprise-wide risk assessment, transaction monitoring, onboarding, and operational and third-party risk, translating regulatory expectations into practical controls that safeguard the company while enabling growth.
Own the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) end to end across customer, product/service, geographic, delivery-channel, and transaction risk; refresh on a defined cadence and on trigger events.
Own transaction monitoring: design, calibrate, and tune rules and thresholds; oversee alert quality and disposition; and govern review and approval/rejection of suspicious transactions against regulatory and internal policy.
Own the merchant/customer onboarding risk framework (KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, UBO, sanctions/PEP screening); set risk-based onboarding criteria and re-KYC/re-rating triggers, and adjudicate high-risk cases.
Develop internal risk policies; define and monitor risk appetite, KRIs, and thresholds; and produce risk dashboards and reports for senior management, the MLRO/Principal Officer, and the Board.
Lead, mentor, and build the risk team into a high-performing second line, and drive risk and compliance training and awareness across the organisation.
Manage operational, fraud, and third-party/banking-partner risk, including correspondent/nostro due diligence, and drive remediation of control gaps to closure.
Partner with Compliance, Legal, and FinCrime on AML/CFT risk and STR/CBWTR reporting to FIU-IND; support audits (ISO 37301/27001) and regulatory examinations; and stay current on IFSCA, RBI, PMLA, and FATF guidance.
